Gwynedd Mercy University, located in Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania, is a private Roman Catholic university founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1948. Nestled on a suburban campus roughly 20 miles north of Philadelphia, it offers a serene environment conducive to its focus on academic rigor and values-based education. With a broad spectrum of undergraduate and graduate programs, the university is particularly recognized for its nursing and health care-related majors. Gwynedd Mercy maintains a moderately selective admissions policy.
