The College of Mount Saint Vincent is situated on a 70-acre campus overlooking the Hudson River in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, New York, approximately 12 miles from Midtown Manhattan. Founded in 1847 by the Sisters of Charity, the private Catholic liberal arts college operates from its original campus location, which features Victorian Gothic architecture including the notable Fonthill Castle. The institution maintains a traditional liberal arts curriculum with particularly strong programs in nursing, education, and business, while also offering pre-professional tracks.
