The College of Our Lady of the Elms, commonly known as Elms College, is located in Chicopee, Massachusetts, approximately four miles from downtown Springfield. Founded in 1928 by the Sisters of St. Joseph, this Catholic liberal arts institution operates from a suburban campus featuring a blend of historic and modern buildings centered around a traditional quad. The college maintains its Catholic heritage while serving students of all faiths, offering undergraduate programs with particular strengths in nursing, education, and business management, along with select master's degree programs. Elms College provides traditional dormitory housing for undergraduate students across five residence halls, with most first-year students required to live on campus.
