Located in the Village of Brockport along the Erie Canal in western New York, approximately 20 miles west of Rochester, SUNY Brockport is a comprehensive public college in the State University of New York system. The 464-acre campus combines historic architecture with modern facilities, featuring a mix of traditional brick buildings and contemporary academic structures. Originally founded as a normal school in 1835, the institution evolved into a teachers' college before becoming a comprehensive liberal arts college in 1948.
