The University of Connecticut, Storrs, is a public research university founded in 1881, boasting a comprehensive array of undergraduate and graduate programs. Situated in a rural setting approximately 30 minutes from the state capital of Hartford, the institution encompasses a traditional New England collegiate atmosphere characterized by Gothic-style architecture, with prominent red brick buildings spread across its primary campus.
