Dallas Baptist University is a private Christian institution situated on a hilltop campus in southern Dallas, Texas, approximately 15 miles from downtown Dallas. The 368-acre campus features Spanish colonial-style architecture and overlooks Mountain Creek Lake. Founded in 1898 as Decatur Baptist College before relocating to Dallas in 1965, DBU operates as a comprehensive university offering undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs with particular emphasis on business, education, and Christian ministry studies.
