Thiel College is a private liberal arts institution located in Greenville, Pennsylvania, approximately 75 miles north of Pittsburgh in the state's western region. The campus occupies 135 acres featuring a mix of historic Gothic and contemporary architecture, with many buildings centered around Brother Martin's Walk, the main pedestrian thoroughfare. Founded in 1866 as a Lutheran-affiliated college, Thiel maintains its religious heritage while serving students of all backgrounds. The college offers undergraduate programs across more than 60 majors and minors, with notable strengths in business administration, education, and neuroscience, while its environmental safety management program was among the first of its kind in the region. Students typically reside in one of eight campus residence halls, and the college competes in NCAA Division III athletics as the Tomcats, participating in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
