Westminster College is located in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, a rural community approximately 60 miles north of Pittsburgh. The 300-acre campus features Georgian colonial architecture anchored by Old Main, which was constructed in 1852 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Founded by Presbyterian leaders, Westminster operates as a private liberal arts institution with a selective admission process and maintains its historical religious affiliation while welcoming students of all backgrounds. The college offers undergraduate programs across more than 40 majors, with particular strength in the sciences, education, and business administration, while requiring all students to live on campus for their first three years.
