Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, located in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, is a public institution founded in 1871. Situated on 200 acres of the Cumberland Valley, it offers a suburban campus environment within driving distance to Harrisburg. The university features a range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, with a particular emphasis on business, education, and the social sciences. Shippensburg maintains a moderate level of application selectivity. Housing is provided on campus with multiple residence halls and apartment-style living options available for students.
