Penn State Greater Allegheny, located in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, is a regional campus of the Pennsylvania State University system, situated approximately 15 miles from Pittsburgh. Established in 1934, it offers an intimate campus setting that integrates both traditional and contemporary architecture, with facilities that support on-campus living for its student body. The campus provides a range of associate and bachelor's degree programs, with a notable emphasis on Information Sciences and Technology. Admission to Penn State Greater Allegheny is considered less selective in comparison to other institutions across the nation. While not widely recognized for intercollegiate athletics, the campus is a part of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, hosting teams under the moniker of the Nittany Lions.
