Penn State Beaver, established in 1965, is located in Monaca, Pennsylvania, approximately 35 miles northwest of Pittsburgh along the Ohio River. The 100-acre suburban campus features a mix of modern academic buildings and student facilities nestled in a wooded setting. As one of Penn State University's Commonwealth campuses, Penn State Beaver offers four-year bachelor's degrees in business, information sciences and technology, and psychology, while also providing students the opportunity to begin most of Penn State's 275+ degree programs before transitioning to other campuses. The campus provides traditional residence halls for students who choose to live on campus, and its athletic programs compete in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
