Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, located in Cheyney, Pennsylvania, holds the distinction of being the oldest historically black college or university (HBCU) in the United States, with its establishment dating back to 1837. The institution offers a serene, predominantly residential campus environment amidst historic buildings and green spaces.
