Siena College, established in 1937, is a private Franciscan liberal arts college located in Loudonville, New York, just a few miles from the state capital, Albany. This suburban campus spans 174 acres and is distinguished by its blend of modern and traditional collegiate gothic architecture. Siena offers a range of undergraduate programs, with business, social sciences, and health professions among the most popular majors. The college is recognized for its personalized education, facilitated by a student-faculty ratio that promotes smaller class sizes. Siena's admissions are selective, seeking students who demonstrate solid academic potential. On-campus living is an integral part of the Siena experience, with a majority of students residing in the college's residence halls. While Siena College does not have an emphasis on athletics that overshadows its academic reputation, it fields a variety of teams known as the Saints, which compete in the NCAA Division I Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
