Don't be trapped by your parents and the Catholic religion, like I was. Go to a more highly rated school, or potential employers will just assume you couldn't get in!

Hate it here. Most other students I have talked to also do not want to be here. They only attend Siena because their parents want them to.

I am a current freshman, and absolutely love Siena! The campus is beautiful, the food is good, and the professors are great! I have yet to meet someone rude, and it is easy to make friends with all of the events held and the small class sizes.

Very expensive. Worth the college experience absolutely, but will definitely hurt your wallet. Professors are caring and helpful and want the best for their students. Class sizes are small and intimate, creating a learning environment beneficial for hands-on students. Partying is a prominent feature, and students are friendly, welcoming, and sociable. Walks to class are short and sweet. Campus is very safe and the community is supportive. Dining halls aren't fantastic, and there's not a huge variety of choice (but really where are dining halls great??). Dorms are in good shape as you get older, but the freshman/sophomore dorms are not nice. All students living on campus is a nice feature that increases the safety of the partying scene, but also makes them easier to shut down.

While Siena College does an excellent job of preparing students academically to succeed in their future careers, it provides so much more. It is a wonderful community that also helps students to make a difference in the world through the many community service opportunities available. The student/faculty ratio and smaller class size allows for a better education and the faculty office hours provide excellent access to them for questions/extra assistance. The campus is beautiful. The only downfall is that the freshman dorms could use some updating/renovation. Some of the upperclassmen dorms were recently constructed.

Siena is a fantastic school. At first I didn't want to attend here, but by the time I graduated I was heartbroken I would not be returning. Siena is a school that really cares about the students. It is open, safe and friendly. Once you are involved and start making friends, you will discover it to truly be an exceptional and special college. A very good education, dedicated staff and faculty, and a super committed and faithful alumni. Oh, and Siena basketball...great! Don't miss the opportunity to be a part of the atmosphere, even if you aren't into basketball. Everything about this school is special.
