Hinds Community College, located in Raymond, Mississippi, approximately 20 miles southwest of Jackson, serves as the largest community college in the state. The main campus occupies a rural setting with additional instructional locations in Jackson, Pearl, Rankin County, Utica, and Vicksburg. Established in 1917 as an agricultural high school, the institution evolved into a junior college in 1922 and now offers more than 70 career and technical programs alongside traditional academic transfer pathways.
