University of Michigan-Dearborn (UM-Dearborn) is a public university established in 1959 with a strong foundation in liberal arts and sciences, as well as professional programs. Located in the suburban city of Dearborn, Michigan, the campus is approximately 10 miles west of downtown Detroit, offering access to the metropolitan cultural and professional opportunities.
