Chesapeake College, located in rural Wye Mills on Maryland's Eastern Shore, serves as the region's only public two-year college across a five-county area. The 170-acre campus features modern academic facilities and the Higher Education Center, which hosts partnership programs with four-year institutions. Founded in 1965 as Maryland's first regional community college, Chesapeake College provides career and transfer programs with notable offerings in health professions, skilled trades, and business.
