Bethel University (formerly Bethel College), located in Mishawaka, Indiana, is a private Christian liberal arts university established in 1947. Situated near South Bend and approximately 90 miles from Chicago, the campus hosts a blend of modern and traditional architecture set in a suburban environment. Bethel offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs with a focus on integrated faith-based learning. Among its academic offerings, Bethel is noted for its programs in nursing, business, and education. The university has a moderately selective admissions process. Residential life is an integral part of the Bethel experience, with on-campus housing options available for students.
