Quinnipiac University spans three campuses in Hamden, Connecticut, situated on 600 acres approximately 90 minutes from New York City and eight miles north of New Haven. The main Mount Carmel campus features a blend of modern and Colonial-style architecture, while the York Hill campus houses upperclassmen residences and athletic facilities, and the North Haven campus serves as home to the medical, law, and health sciences schools. Founded in 1929 as a small business college, Quinnipiac has evolved into a private university known for its School of Communications, School of Business, and health science programs, particularly nursing and physical therapy.
