Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC), established in 1918, is a public community college located in Santa Rosa, California, the county seat of Sonoma County and roughly 55 miles north of San Francisco. Situated in a picturesque wine country setting, the college is widely recognized for its strong programs in nursing, culinary arts, and wine studies, reflecting the region's industry strengths. SRJC operates on an open admission policy, offering higher education access to a diverse population. The main campus, noted for its early 20th century Spanish Colonial Revival architecture style, provides a blend of historical and modern facilities amidst extensive grounds. While SRJC does not provide on-campus housing, it does facilitate off-campus housing resources for its large student population. The academic offerings include an array of associate degrees, certificate programs, and a pathway to transfer to four-year institutions. Santa Rosa Junior College is not primarily noted for its athletic programs; hence, sports are not a focal point of its campus identity.

Santa Rosa Junior College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  4,296 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 11,256 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $1,242 plus fees of $76.
