Azusa Pacific University (APU) is a private, evangelical Christian university located in Azusa, California, approximately 26 miles northeast of Los Angeles. Established in 1899, the university maintains a suburban campus setting situated against the backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains. APU offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, and is known for its School of Nursing and the School of Behavioral and Applied Sciences. The campus architecture features a mix of modern and traditional styles with facilities that support academic and student life, including on-campus housing options for those who choose to live at the university. In terms of selectivity, Azusa Pacific University is considered moderately selective.
