Samford University, located in suburban Birmingham, Alabama, is a private Christian institution founded in 1841 as Howard College. With its campus featuring Georgian Colonial architecture, the university encompasses a traditional atmosphere. Samford offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable emphasis on Nursing, Pharmacy, Business, and Law. The university provides a residential experience, with the majority of undergraduates living on campus in a variety of housing options.
