The University of Charleston, located in the state capital of West Virginia along the banks of the Kanawha River, provides a picturesque urban setting close to the cultural and political hub of the city. Established in 1888, this private institution maintains a history of fostering academic rigor across various disciplines. The University of Charleston is recognized for its strong programs in health sciences, business, and education.
