Located 20 miles northeast of Seattle, the University of Washington Bothell campus occupies 128 acres of land shared with Cascadia College, including restored wetlands and an urban forest. Established in 1990, UW Bothell serves as the northeastern branch of the University of Washington system, operating in a suburban setting that combines modern academic buildings with preserved natural spaces. The campus offers undergraduate and graduate programs with particular emphasis in business, computing, engineering, and biological sciences, while maintaining selective admission standards consistent with the UW system. Students can choose between commuting and living in campus-affiliated housing at Husky Village, with most of the student population commuting from surrounding King and Snohomish counties.
