The University of North Texas is test-optional for first-year admission. Applicants are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores. You may be considered without a test score if your cumulative unweighted high school GPA is above 3.0. Guaranteed admission is available if you rank in the top 30% of your class, have a 3.25 or higher unweighted GPA, or submit an official SAT of 1100 or ACT of 22. Official scores may come from the College Board or ACT, or from your high school transcript, and the writing section is not required.
