The University of Texas of the Permian Basin (UTPB) is a state institution located in Odessa, Texas, approximately 20 minutes from the city of Midland. Established in 1973, UTPB is part of the University of Texas System, offering a focused range of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable offerings in business, education, and engineering.
