Brazosport College

Brazosport College is a public community college located in Lake Jackson, Texas, approximately 50 miles south of Houston in the heart of Brazoria County's petrochemical industry corridor. The campus spans 156 acres of coastal prairie and features modern classroom facilities and specialized technical training centers, including the BASF Center for Process Technology. Established in 1968, the institution primarily serves the greater Brazosport area with both academic transfer programs and workforce training, particularly in process technology, crafts, and industrial technologies. The college maintains strong partnerships with local industry employers and offers notable programs in petrochemical processing, nursing, and business management. While primarily a commuter campus, Brazosport College provides comprehensive student services and recently expanded its Bachelor of Applied Technology program offerings.
