Lane College, founded in 1882 and affiliated with the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, is a private historically black college located in Jackson, Tennessee, approximately 85 miles northeast of Memphis. Lane's intimate campus exudes a traditional character, featuring facilities that support its commitment to providing a liberal arts education. The college offers a variety of undergraduate degrees with notable programs in business, sociology, and pre-professional disciplines within the Division of Business, Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Division of Liberal Arts and Education.
