Founded in 1927, Austin Peay State University (APSU) is a public institution residing on a 196-acre urban campus in Clarksville, Tennessee, roughly 45 miles northwest of Nashville. The university bears the name of a former Tennessee governor and has since established itself as a center for higher education in the state, catering to a diverse student body.
