Sinte Gleska University, located in Mission, South Dakota, is a tribal higher education institution situated within the Rosebud Sioux Reservation. This university, named to honor the Sicangu Lakota Chief Spotted Tail (Sinte Gleska), was established in 1970 and offers a unique cultural and educational experience rooted in the Lakota traditions and language.
