Washington & Jefferson College, founded in 1781 and located in Washington, Pennsylvania, is a private liberal arts college situated approximately 30 miles south of Pittsburgh. The college merges a rich historical presence with a contemporary collegiate atmosphere, flaunting a campus renowned for its red brick Georgian architecture. Washington & Jefferson offers a plethora of academic programs, with particularly distinguished programs in Pre-Law and Pre-Medicine. The college operates on a moderately selective admissions process.
