Community College of Philadelphia

Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) serves as the largest public institution of higher education in Philadelphia, operating from a main campus in the Spring Garden neighborhood and three regional centers across the city. The main campus occupies several blocks near Center City Philadelphia, featuring a mix of modern and historic buildings, including the Mint Building, which formerly housed the Philadelphia Mint in the early 1900s. CCP offers over 70 associate degree and certificate programs, with particular emphasis in allied health, business, liberal arts, and science fields. The college maintains partnerships with multiple four-year institutions in the region for transfer pathways, and provides workforce development programs aligned with Philadelphia's employment sectors. All campuses are commuter-based, with no on-campus housing facilities, serving a diverse urban student population through day, evening, and weekend classes.
