Southeastern Oklahoma State University, established in 1909 as Southeastern State Normal School, is located in Durant, Oklahoma, approximately 95 miles north of Dallas, Texas. The main campus spans 269 acres featuring a mix of historic and modern buildings, including Morrison Hall, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
