Eastern Oklahoma State College is located in Wilburton, Oklahoma, a rural community in the foothills of the Sans Bois Mountains approximately 130 miles southeast of Tulsa. Established in 1908 as the School of Mines and Metallurgy, the institution evolved into a comprehensive two-year college serving eastern Oklahoma.
