Wake Technical Community College

Wake Technical Community College operates multiple campuses across Wake County, North Carolina, with its main campus situated in south Raleigh. Founded in 1958 as the Wake County Industrial Education Center, the institution has evolved into North Carolina's largest community college and serves the greater Triangle region, which includes Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. The college maintains six primary campuses, including specialized facilities for health sciences, technology, and automotive training, along with several smaller learning centers throughout the county. Wake Tech offers more than 200 associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates with particular emphasis on technical training, healthcare, business administration, and college transfer programs.
