Canisius College, founded in 1870 and named after St. Peter Canisius, is a private Jesuit institution situated in Buffalo, New York, minutes from the Canadian border. The urban campus is recognized for Gothic-inspired architecture and offers on-campus living options for its student body. Canisius provides a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, with a noted emphasis on business and the health professions, as well as sciences and the liberal arts.
