The University of Nebraska at Kearney is a four-year public institution located in Kearney, Nebraska, approximately 184 miles west of Omaha. Established in 1905 as a teacher's college, it has since expanded its academic offerings with a portfolio that includes business administration, education, and health sciences among its popular majors. The campus boasts a blend of traditional and modern architecture with facilities that provide on-campus housing options to accommodate its student population. With a moderately selective admissions process, the university attracts a diverse undergraduate student body.
