Stephens College, located in Columbia, Missouri, is a private women's college situated in the state's college-focused downtown district near the University of Missouri. The historic campus, established in 1833, features a blend of Victorian and modern architecture across its 86-acre grounds, making it the second-oldest women's college in the United States. As a selective liberal arts institution, Stephens College maintains a focus on creative arts, health sciences, and equestrian studies, with particularly strong programs in fashion design, dance, and theatrical performance.
