Saint John's University, located in Collegeville, Minnesota, is a private liberal arts college situated approximately 75 miles northwest of Minneapolis. Founded in 1857 by the Benedictine monks of Saint John's Abbey, the university resides on a 2,740-acre campus characterized by its wooded landscape and notable examples of Marcel Breuer architecture. Saint John's University offers a range of undergraduate programs, with a notable emphasis on the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. The university operates on a unique partnership with the College of Saint Benedict, a women's college in nearby St. Joseph, which allows students from both institutions to take classes at either campus.
