Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College (FDLTCC) is a public, two-year college located in Cloquet, Minnesota, which is approximately 20 miles southwest of Duluth. Established in 1987 through a unique partnership between the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the State of Minnesota, FDLTCC is part of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. The college campus contributes to an intimate academic setting that intertwines cultural significance with modern educational facilities, serving as a crossroad where cultural heritage and community integration meet. FDLTCC provides an array of academic programs with a distinctive emphasis on American Indian culture and notable offerings in environmental science, nursing, and law enforcement. While the college mainly serves commuter students, it does offer housing options through an on-campus apartment-style residence hall. FDLTCC embraces an inclusive admissions policy, aiming to make higher education accessible to a broad demographic of students.
