Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College (FDLTCC) is located in Cloquet, Minnesota, approximately 20 miles southwest of Duluth. The college, established in 1987, represents a unique partnership between the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, making it the only combined tribal and community college in the United States. The campus features contemporary architecture that incorporates traditional Ojibwe cultural elements, including a distinctive circular design and extensive use of natural light. FDLTCC offers associate degrees and certificate programs, with strong emphasis on American Indian studies, law enforcement, nursing, and environmental science. The college maintains an open enrollment policy and provides on-campus housing in its residence hall, which accommodates approximately 100 students.
