The University of Michigan, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is a prestigious public research institution, noted for its high-volume research activity and broad range of undergraduate and graduate programs. Established in 1817, the university is one of the oldest in the Midwest and sits approximately 45 minutes away from the metropolitan area of Detroit.
