Fitchburg State University, established in 1894, is a public institution nestled in the city of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, approximately 50 miles from Boston. The university showcases a blend of traditional and modern architecture across its urban campus, offering a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs with a notable emphasis on nursing, education, and criminal justice. While maintaining a broadly inclusive admissions policy, Fitchburg State provides housing options to students through its residence halls and apartment-style living.
