The University of Maine at Augusta (UMA), located in the state's capital, Augusta, provides a distinctive educational experience with its focus on professional and liberal arts at both undergraduate and graduate levels. University of Maine at Augusta has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  1,301 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 3,145 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $7,350 plus fees of $1,028.
