Georgetown College, located in Georgetown, Kentucky, approximately 12 miles north of Lexington, is a private Baptist-affiliated liberal arts institution established in 1829. The 104-acre campus features Georgian-style architecture and a traditional collegiate layout centered around Giddings Hall, the college's oldest building. As a selective liberal arts college, Georgetown maintains small class sizes and offers undergraduate programs with particular strengths in biological sciences, education, and business administration. The campus includes residential facilities housing most students in traditional dormitories and apartment-style units, and the college competes in the NAIA Mid-South Conference, where its teams are known as the Tigers.
