Indiana University-South Bend, the third-largest campus in the Indiana University system, offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate programs, with a noted emphasis on health and human services, business, and education. Established in 1922, the university is set on a picturesque 80-acre campus near the St. Joseph River, giving students a blend of natural beauty and urban convenience, just five miles from the center of South Bend and approximately 90 miles east of Chicago. While the campus exudes a modern flair, its spacious grounds and facilities provide a serene academic environment. Indiana University-South Bend maintains moderate selectivity in admissions.
