Elmhurst University, formerly Elmhurst College prior to June 2020, is a private liberal arts institution founded in 1871 and affiliated with the United Church of Christ. Situated in Elmhurst, Illinois, the university is approximately 16 miles west of downtown Chicago, offering students both a suburban campus environment and access to a major urban center. Elmhurst's campus features a blend of traditional collegiate gothic architecture and modern facilities.
