Georgia Tech Test Policy

Test Submission Requirements

Georgia Tech requires all first-year applicants to submit SAT or ACT results for the 2026-27 admissions cycle. Applicants may self-report scores on the Common Application or in the admission portal after applying; students who enroll must send official scores from the testing agency before orientation. Georgia Tech does not require the SAT Essay or ACT Writing, and it considers the highest SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math scores and the highest ACT English, Math, and Reading scores. The Classic Learning Test does not replace the SAT or ACT requirement.
