Georgia College & State University (GCSU), located in Milledgeville, Georgia, stands as the state's designated public liberal arts university. Founded in 1889, GCSU merges historic ambiance with modern educational facilities, highlighted by its Antebellum architecture that punctuates a campus distinguished by scenic green spaces and a traditional college atmosphere. Approximately 30 miles northeast of Macon, the university offers an array of undergraduate and graduate programs, with particularly strong emphasis on liberal arts education.
