If you are able to devote all of your time to get a good grade at JCCC, do not plan on having a job or any other responsibilities. Even though JCCC is a good school it only caters to the already educated people. You have to be technology ready in everything, submitting homework. Yes, there are resources, but they are electronic and only at certain dates, times, and very overwhelming when your not sure what resources you need in time to submit your assignments. No weekend help when it is crunch time for assignments due. I have never had any help with the counselors when there are issues. All they are good for is to look up what classes you have and credits. It is the teachers who run the school and when there is help to be needed they are hands off. Very rarely have I got a teacher who understands about struggles arises when there are due dates. Mostly teachers are too strict. There is always too much information9-3*- expected to be learned in a short amount of time. The online classes suck unless you can devote 9-3 hors on certain days. Teachers do not answer your questions on weekends. If I was not heavily invested in the location and hours already spend here, I would look somewhere else. This school does not worry about working or self-paced students needs. Everything is up to the teachers and they really don't care when they have other schools they work for and several other students. I have been going here since 2018 and I keep having the same issues over and over with no help.

Wonderfull Small/Med. College. Caring environment. Beautiful Safe campus. Great D1 sports! Love that it is a Baptist college without the Fines for things like watching a rated R movie and such like at some other larger Christian universities. Most of the students at GWU have good Christian values. Not a party school. The New Cafe is great and the other food options are good. Great Shuttle service to the airport to go home for Holidays.
